Fallout 4 has infinitely better gunplay and controls, put 50 or so hours into a Fallout 4 playthough and try to go back to New Vegas, it's pretty brutal. The weapon crafting system is amazing too. This is a personal one but I also like how they removed the karma system, I was never a fan of it in the previous games.
Fallout 3 is my favourite game of all time and Fallout: New Vegas follows closely behind. REALLY close. Fallout: New Vegas brought more challenge to the Wasteland, making it harder for you to find medical items and ammo, and now more than one Deathclaw attacks you at a time!
Absolutely not. All available information suggests it's taking more cues from games like Mass Effect Andromeda, The Quiet Man, No Man's Sky (the launch build) and Anthem. All indications point towards it taking more cues from Fallout 76 than Fallout New Vegas. RichGraverDig • 8 mo. ago.
Yeah I guess fo3 looks way better than new vegas tho maybe it’s just the colour pallets of the game f03 is a lot of green and greys where as fallout new vegas is a lot off browns oranges and yellows all like objectively ugly colours in
The New Vegas location and major factions seem more interesting but the main quest and your character role in the game seem forced. In Fallout 4 its more of the other side of that coin, the factions seem less interesting but your role in the world seems much more clear and meaningful.
3 first then new vegas, you'll see the progression like being able to ADS, and the addition of factions etc. Fallout 3 will definitely ease you into the gameplay, I'd recommend looking into some mods to make the game more stable but it isn't required.
Play NV first and then 4. Both are great but playing NV after 4 might feel weird. I second this definitely play New Vegas first it'll feel like fallout 3 as far as looks and gameplay. This is the way. Yeah I played 4 and then my bro told me to play new Vegas but it is so much clunkier it kinda takes the fun out of it.
