War of the Ring’s latest expansion, Kings of Middle-earth, is due for release in 2022, following reprints of the original game and its spiritual successor based on The Hobbit, Battle of Five Armies, this year.

This new limited-edition expansion for War of the Ring comes in an “extended version” that will include a deluxe version of the content of both Kings of Middle-earth and Lords of Middle-earth, packaged together in a box matching the size of the previous Anniversary Release and Warriors of Middle-earth Limited Edition. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (formerly nicknamed LOTRonPrime) is a series produced by Amazon Studios, alongside New Line Cinema. It is a spin-off of J.R.R. Tolkien's lore of Middle-earth. The first season premiered in September of 2022. It is set in an alternate Second Age, long before the time-frame of The Lord of the Rings. The series is a political, fantasy drama led by Morfydd Now that Ares is pretty well finished delivering Battle of the Five Armies Collector's Edition my hope was that we would finally get some update or news on the collector's edition of Kings of Middle Earth (and specifically/ hopefully the CE edition that has the CE Lords expansion
